Lush Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb Review

I have no idea why I keep on taking breaks with my blogging! Sorry for that guys! But I do think it's better to only write when I want to - no point in forcing out a load of posts when my heart isn't in it! Hopefully I'll be able to write more posts over the summer. Who is loving this lovely hot weather we are getting? Fingers crossed it will last!

On to the review! How absolutely gorgeous is this LUSH bath bomb? I took this photos months ago, if you're a lush fanatic you'll have already realised this gorgeous bath bomb was released for valentines day only.  Very appropriate for the occasion don't you think? It's just so beautiful! I love the pink and white heart shaped bomb with rose buds embedded into it. When you drop this into the bath, it just fizzes away and the rose buds float along side you in the bath - I felt like it was a very romantic gesture to myself getting this bath bomb :P

This bath bomb is scented so wonderfully, floral and rosey of course! I loved the colour of the water too. It turned a sweet shade of baby pink. If you're a fan of bubbles, this bomb isn't for you unfortunately as my bomb rendered no bubbles! A slight disappointment but a small price to pay for this romantic treat.

Alien Boobs

WHAT I'M WEARING -
Top, BOOHOO
Shorts, BOOHOO
Hat, KILLSTAR
Boots, PRIMARK

Hey guys, back with another post after a short absence! I was so cold taking these photos but I wanted to get an outfit post on my new favorite feature, my alien boobs! I've had this crop top since last summer but I dug it out my wardrobe the other day. Obviously, It's too cold for me to wear it without a jumper because I'm a like cold blooded reptile.

I do love this Killstar hat! Got to admit, I get some strange looks when I wear this hat... I wonder why?
I love wearing these sparkly shorts, adding some glam to my everyday look. I especially love the 'love' logo down the sides!

Have a lovely week everyone!

Lush Rockstar Soap Review

Another lovely present I received for my 21st birthday! I really didn't expect this one. I've spent years going into Lush for a quick nose around, admittedly, their amazing and wacky bath bombs always stole the limelight! However, when I did look around their soaps years ago, this adorably cute little pink star shaped soap stuck out to me above the rest! You can imagine my surprise when Rachel got me this for my Birthday along with a few other Lush goodies.

First of all, this soap is called Rock star! I know, absolutely perfect for a metal head like me! even my soap is rock n roll influenced. I'm pretty sure not many rock stars smell this good though; this soap is so sweet smelling. The most perfect balance of Vanilla, not too overwhelming at all and makes my bathroom smell incredible after my showers!
With coconut oil and rapeseed oil, I'm pretty certain my skin hasn't felt softer! I'v been using this soap daily for almost three weeks now and it's hardly changed in size. I know the moment I run out of my cute, pink little rock star I will undoubtedly be buying another!

A little belated Valentines post but never mind, this look is too gorgeous not to share! We both hope everyone had a fun Valentine's day. If you're not into all the lovey-dovey crap then this makeup is most definitely for you.
So, if you read our Valentines makeup look you will notice that we used all the same makeup products as the last look. We regularly use both high end and drug store makeup so it's a nice mix of both.

The eyes are definitely the focal point of this whole entire look. Rachel created this by using our recently gifted Naked Smokey Palette - which is absolutely stunning for dark looks! So definitely right up our street as two goth girls. You can rock this look with either a dark lip for extra boldness or a nude lip for a more understated look.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hey everyone, Valentines day is fast approaching and I'll use any excuse to do a themed make up look! This is my own twist on a romantic look. Rachel's anti-valentine day makeup look will be getting posted later this week so keep your eyes peeled for that!

I done my usual base routine, nothing too fancy but I always love using a lot of highlighter to get a lovely glow - desperately wanting to be a glowy unicorn is easy with my new found love, Barry M Liquid Chrome Drops. I just mix it in with my foundation and it looks gorgeous.

For my eyes, I used a blusher palatte to get a really pink, lovely romatic look. I love it! I used some reds and a purple in my crease from my UD Alice in Wonderland palette just to darken it up a little. I wont say too much on the mascara and eyeliner as we have in-depth reviews coming up on them!

To finish the look I used a classic, sexy red lip. I love this lipstick but it does seem to crack a little through out the day and wears off around the middle of my lip as the bottom photo shows -arghh! Still, absolutely gorgeous and is the perfect finishing touch.

What are you up to this Valentines?

Makeup We Got For Our 21st Birthday

It was our 21st birthday on the 7th! I still can't believe we're 21, I still feel like a baby. Anyway, we were really lucky to get some amazing makeup this year from our lovely mum and dad (thanks guys!)

So first up is the Kat Von D Basket Case Anti- Precision Pencil Eyeliner - I actually couldn't believe it when I opened this present... a Kat Von D eyeliner and not just any eyeliner, it's the basket case liner that she's only just released in collaboration with Billy Joe who is the lead singer of Green Day! I have always wanted a Kat Von D liner so I was so excited to try this out. As you can imagine, the pigment is super intense and it stays put all day. I won't go into too much detail as there will be a full review on this liner in a few days to come so stay tuned! I 100% recommend this amazing eyeliner to any eyeliner-aholic!

If you read our blog regularly you would know that me and leah are absolutely obsessed with Urban Decay so we were so excited to see that we got Urban Decay's All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer! We live for Urban Decay palettes and lipsticks but we have never tried any base products from UD so I was really interested to see if I loved it as much as their eyeshadows. This is full coverage which I love in a concealer and it applies so flawlessly. I just couldn't ask for more from this concealer, it's bae.

I was so shocked when I saw that we got Benefit's BADgal BANG Mascara! All I can say is wow. I saw so much hype around this mascara when it was released recently and I can honestly say myself that it's worth the hype! Stay tuned for a full review on this amazing mascara next week!

Me and Leah love a good highlight so I was so happy that mum had got us a highlighter. The one we got was Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops. You only need a few drops and you're glowing like a mystical creature, we love it! Leah  got me Urban Decay 'vice' Metallised Lipstick in the shade 'Amulet'. It's such a pretty pink shimmering shade and I absolutely adore it.

To pretty up my nails I also got Rimmel Rita Ora 60 Seconds in 'Hot Metal Love' and a clear top and base coat. Hot Metal Love is such a beautiful colour that reminds me a space and galaxies. The 60 Seconds range will always be my go to for nail polishes.

WOW. I was so shook when I saw that we had got Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eye Shadow Palette! I can't even describe how amazing this palette is! I was so happy that we got a guide in the palette too to give us step by step instructions on how to create four perfect smoky eye looks. There will also be a single post dedicated to this palette really soon because come on, this palette deserves it's own post!

I'm in love with The Body Shop and was so happy that I got a two lip butters that smells delicious and helps hydrate my lips for hours. Both of the hand creams are amazing too and I raved about the TBS hand creams a few days ago in our January Favourites post!
That brings us to the end of this post and I just want to thank my mum and dad again for making us have the best 21 birthday ever. I actually think it was my best ever birthday because it was just a day of relaxing, having fun, drinking wine and eating our amazing unicorn cake! Also thanks to our big sister Caz and Eve for making our day amazing too. Thanks for the presents guys!

What do you guys think of our birthday makeup for our 21st?

Spider Girl

What I'm Wearing:
VELVET HOODIE - H&M
LEGGINGS - BOOHOO
BOOTS - MISSGUIDED

Hey everyone, hope everyone is enjoying the first few days of February! I'm so glad January is over as I was so so sick but now I'm feeling much better and just in time for my birthday on the 7th, yay!

This outfit was just something I wanted to throw on as I'm still recovering from the flu. I also love outfits that look stylish but are so comfortable and easy to throw on. I always grab my velvet hoodie from H&M when I want to put something warm on. I absolutely love velvet, it's my favourite material in the whole entire world and I'd wear it every single day if I could. As an alternative gal, I wanted to add some 'weird' to my outfit so I wore my spider web leggings from the Boohoo Halloween collection because after all, everyday is Halloween to me! These leggings are really soft material and they're just so comfy to wear! I'm wearing my all time favourite boots too that I got for Christmas! They're suede and lace up all the way up past the knee which I love. I think I'll have these boots for ages because they're so well made plus I'm in love with them! This is one of my favourite outfits to just throw on for a casual day and to be warm and stylish too!

Would you wear these spider web leggings?

January Favourites 2018

One of my favourite posts to write on the blog is monthly favourites! I always find that January is always a easy month to find favourites because of Christmas the month before. Get ready because this post is full of makeup, mainly Urban Decay!

Urban Decay Heavy Metals Metallic Eyeshadow Palette - One word; wow. We got this Urban Decay palette for Christmas last month and I think I've used it everyday since! The shades are just beautiful. From vibrant pinks and reds to unusual greens and golds, this palette has got a wide variety of shades. The pigment is absolutely amazing which you would expect from a high end brand like UD. The staying power is also amazing with lots of shimmer and sparkle. The packaging is beautiful and I always love it when my palettes come with a big mirror! I was surprised that it didn't come with the usual Urban Decay eyeshadow brush that usually comes with the Naked palettes but the amount of shades makes up for the lack of the brush. It's pricey but definitely worth the price in my opinion!
Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Highlighter in Sin - This was another present from Christmas and I was so excited to try it because it's been on my wishlist for ages now! This shade is called Sin which is a beautiful pretty shimmery shade but also quite natural. This highlighter applies so well and lasts for so long on my face. The finish is shimmery and not glittery so it's a nice natural glow. For me, highlighter is essential for my makeup looks so this one will definitely be in my makeup stash for a while! The packaging is amazing with the inside of the lid looking like a fishnet pattern. There's no mirror or brush but this highlighter is so special so don't let that put you off!
The Body Shop Frosted Plum Hand Cream - I'm so upset that this hand cream was limited edition for Christmas. The smell of this hand cream is absolutely delicious and makes my hands so soft! It's not greasy like many hand creams and sinks right into my skin. I'm in love with this product and will have to replace it with another Body Shop hand cream when it runs out!

The Body Shop Vitamin E Lip Balm - I suffer with really dry lips especially in the winter but this lip balm has made my lips soooo soft. It's so moisturising and leaves my lips feeling smooth and hydrated all day. This hasn't got a scent to it either so it's for those gals and boys that hate fruity scents. This is also an SPF of 15 which is amazing and will be perfect to take away on holiday in the summer!
Urban Decay Comfort Matte Vice Lipstick in 1993 - I am OBSESSED with this lipstick. The minute I saw the shade 1993 I just needed to have it in my collection. The colour is a natural nude and a typical 90s shade lipstick. This shade just finishes of any makeup look and it looks so grunge. It looks perfect with or without makeup. The staying power is amazing and it actually stays on my lips all day long! The pigment is also amazing and can be built up if you wanted it to look less natural. I took a swatch of the lipstick on my lips so you guys can see how it looks but honestly you should try this lipstick and see how amazing it is yourself!
Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine in Rapid Ruby - You can't beat a red nail polish. I bought this on a whim in boots and I'm so glad I did. The Rimmel 60 seconds range has always been one of my favourite nail polish ranges ever because the colours are so gorgeous and pigmented. Two layers of this polish and my nails are dry so fast which is a bonus!

L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation in Vanilla - This is my go to foundation! The colour is a light shade which suits my skin perfectly. It's a full coverage foundation but at the same time my skin can breathe and it doesn't feel cakey at all. It's a matte finish so my skin doesn't get oily as much as it usually does which makes me feel so much better about my skin. I love this foundation and can see myself buying it over and over again.
Catwalk by Tigi Camera Ready Spray - I got this for Christmas and I'm in love. I've always been a fan of Tigi shampoos and conditioners so I was so excited to try this spray. I spritz this on my hair after blow drying and my hair is left feeling super soft, lightweight with an amazing shine. I honestly love this spray and will definitely be buying it again when it runs out!

So, that's our January favourites of 2018! Are these some of your favourite products too?

You Are We

What I'm Wearing:
TOP - BAND MERCH
SHORTS - PRETTY LITTLE THING
BOOTS - PRIMARK

I've been loving blogging recently so here we are, with another post! My favourite posts to do are fashion ones. I have a lot of black clothes - a slight obsession I have, perhaps? And being a metal head musician, it's only natural I have many band tops in my collection, right? This one I'm wearing is my newest addition and already my favourite! Bought at a While She Sleeps gig, which was seriously mind blowing, fun and insane, I had to get a band top to keep as a memento from one of my favourite gigs.
While She Sleeps really do the most gorgeous, creative merch so I was a bit spoilt for choice.. but I obviously had the get the top with the dog on it! Albeit looking quite vicious, I love it! I love the use of the bright red writing along the sleeves, in Chinese I think? Regardless of the language, I adore how much thought has clearly gone into this top! While She Sleeps, stealing my heart all over again with their aesthetic both musically and fashion wise!

These shorts are seriously the cutest shorts I have. They're so cute and I just love the added detail of the frills on the bottom on the hem. They're velvet too (my favourite!) and add a bit of cuteness to whatever outfit I chose to wear.

The boots are from Primark! I know, they're amazingly gorgeous and stylish! Not to mention affordable. It's lovely knowing you can get cheap but gorgeous fashion these days for us poorer folk :P Look at the buckles and zip details! Also, these boots are so comfortable to wear. I pop these on and instantly feel like a 90's grunge queen.

Have you got any band tops?

Our Lotus Tattoos

Hey everyone, today's post is all about mine and Leah's most recent tattoos.
We both wanted Lotus flowers because not only are they pretty to look at and feminine but they also have a very special meaning. Lotus flowers are symbolic of purity of the mind and body. While the roots are buried under the mud, it's flowers blossom on long stalks, floating above muddy waters.
This is my gorgeous lotus tattoo that is placed on the top of my spine. The design is mandala inspired with the dots and thin delicate feminine lines. The actual tattoo didn't take long at all to complete, probably just over half an hour and it didn't hurt much at all! I actually thought that the top of the spine would be so painful but it's been my least painful tattoo to date! I couldn't be happier with this tattoo as it's so  me and looks feminine. Also, having a tattoo at the top of my spine is inspiring me to buy more low back tops to show off my tattoo! - Leah
I couldn't be more excited to get this tattoo as I've always wanted a tattoo on my wrist that went to forearm. The minute I saw the design I couldn't be happier as it's a geometric lotus design that is also mandala inspired with the dots and lines. As this is quite a big tattoo I thought it would take a long time but it didn't at all, probably 40 or so minutes. Not gonna lie, it was painful! It was so worth the pain though because now I am left with a beautiful tattoo that I am in love with! What I love about mine and Leah's tattoo is that they both look like sisters as they're both similar but different. - Rachel

We couldn't be happier with our tattoos as they're exactly what we wanted! The tattoo shop we went to is called Northern Soul in Liverpool and we will definitely be going there again for our future tattoos!

Do you guys have any tattoos?

LUSH Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar

Hey everyone, remember us? Well, we're back! and what better way to start off our blogging return than with a review on the ever so magical LUSH Unicorn Horn bubble bar?

So, this was meant to be a birthday present but Rachel gifted it to me early seeing as I've been pretty sick recently (anyone else constantly ill these days?!) and she knew undoubtedly that this limited edition valentines day special would make me feel better! Such a babe, thanks Rach!

Firstly, how cute is this bubble bar? It's almost too pretty to use. Almost. Formulated with relaxing lavender oil and the 'mood brightening' neroli oil which increases serotonin in the brain, which makes us happy! Sounds good right? and this bar smells insanely gorgeous, not too overpowering at all. Also, this bar is packed with a shimmery glitter! Girls (and guys) who the hell can resist some glitter?! For the mystical creature fanatic in me, this unicorn horn is a piece of pure happiness!

All I need to say to is why the hell is this limited edition!? I need this unicorn horn in my life all year round, making my baths perfectly pink and bubbly. This is a must buy for anyone that needs a good pick me up! It's definitely brightened my day up.

What will you be picking up from LUSH?
