You Are We

What I'm Wearing:
TOP - BAND MERCH
SHORTS - PRETTY LITTLE THING
BOOTS - PRIMARK

I've been loving blogging recently so here we are, with another post! My favourite posts to do are fashion ones. I have a lot of black clothes - a slight obsession I have, perhaps? And being a metal head musician, it's only natural I have many band tops in my collection, right? This one I'm wearing is my newest addition and already my favourite! Bought at a While She Sleeps gig, which was seriously mind blowing, fun and insane, I had to get a band top to keep as a memento from one of my favourite gigs.
While She Sleeps really do the most gorgeous, creative merch so I was a bit spoilt for choice.. but I obviously had the get the top with the dog on it! Albeit looking quite vicious, I love it! I love the use of the bright red writing along the sleeves, in Chinese I think? Regardless of the language, I adore how much thought has clearly gone into this top! While She Sleeps, stealing my heart all over again with their aesthetic both musically and fashion wise!

These shorts are seriously the cutest shorts I have. They're so cute and I just love the added detail of the frills on the bottom on the hem. They're velvet too (my favourite!) and add a bit of cuteness to whatever outfit I chose to wear.

The boots are from Primark! I know, they're amazingly gorgeous and stylish! Not to mention affordable. It's lovely knowing you can get cheap but gorgeous fashion these days for us poorer folk :P Look at the buckles and zip details! Also, these boots are so comfortable to wear. I pop these on and instantly feel like a 90's grunge queen.

Have you got any band tops?

A Touch Of Pink

Dip Dyed Crop top - Boohoo | Shorts - Primark  | Tights - Primark

Hello everyone! Sorry for not being as active on the blogging scene lately, life gets in the way sadly. But I'm really pleased that we managed to get some outfit photos today in the lovely sunshine.

I've been looking for some new Summer clothes recently because we're going on holiday to Greece at the end of April - SO EXCITED. We haven't been on holiday for years and we've only been abroad twice. I think I was too excited daydreaming about my holiday in Greece when I put this outfit on this morning and forgot I was in Liverpool, freezing my ass off despite the bright sunshine.
I don't have many colourful clothes in the slightest but hey, it's getting warmer (supposedly) and I thought I'd embrace some more colour in my life! Introducing this gorgeous pink and white crop top from Boohoo! This was only £4 so it was such a bargain! The material is lovely, it's a great fit and I love the hint of pink as it's not too over whelming for a girl like me that doesn't wear much pink at all. I can see myself chilling in this cute top all Summer - hopefully minus the big black woolly jumper like I'm wearing over it now!

These shorts. These adorable lace trimmed shorts were just £12 from Primark and I absolutely love them. I think sometimes plain denim shorts can be a little boring but the lace on these beauties adds a little more detail and sexiness to any outfit which I love of course! I think this outfit shows that you don't have to spend loads of money on Summer clothes. You can't buy style - it's how you pair your clothes together that matters!

Have you found any Summer bargains?

State Of Mind

    Black Cotton Shirt - H&M | T-shirt - Forever 21 | Fishnet Tights - Primark

First of all I'd like to say that IT FINALLY FEELS LIKE SPRING! I am so excited about it being warmer. Spring is such a beautiful season. We have more sunshine, warmer weather, everything is alive again, the flowers & new life and of course Easter! But want to know the real reason why I'm so excited for Spring? New clothes. Yes, that's right. A new season brings an abundance of pastel shades, crop tops, short skirts and denim jackets. I'm in my element! It's a relief to get out of the hats and bulky coats.

And just look at this complete babe of a top I'm wearing. It's a top I've always dreamed of wearing because it's the ultimate hippie/boho piece of clothing. Oh, it's so 90's too!  It's such a gorgeous tie dye - pastel pink and blue are fast becoming new favorite shades of mine. Not to mention the really awesome slogan too. It's a weird little smiley face that reminds me of Nirvana and the words 'State of Mind'. I absolutely love it and the words mean a lot to me too.
The fabric of this top is sooo soft. I find that all the tops from Forever 21 are super soft cotton and it just feels incredible. I can see myself wearing this top non stop through out the Summer. It's still a bit chilly so I've got my lovely black long sleeved top from H&M on underneath for extra warmth. I've got my amazing denim shorts on from Primark and my beloved fishnets on for added sassiness!

Smile, Kiss, Laugh and Pout

Black Top - Forever 21
Tee - H&M
Shorts - Boohoo
Tights - Primark
Boots - Primark

Sorry for the bad lighting everyone! It's a pet hate of mine when blogging pictures don't look as good as I want them to be! It's super hard to get 100% quality when the weather is just grey and miserable. I really want to find a great stylish backdrop for our fashion pictures too! #bloggingproblems

I just threw this outfit on and I'm really happy with how the white shirt looks against the black. I think I'll probably start wearing more white in the warmer months. This Smile, Kiss, Laugh and Pout tee is from my new favourite shop H&M. I went over the weekend and it was 20% off if you bought 3 items or more! The quality of these tees are just so amazing. I bought this sweet little shirt and also a pink tee saying 'feminist'. I put a selfie of the feminist tshirt on instagram and to say the least, I got some really weird comments haha! You can see the post here if you want :)
So this is just a simple shirt that looks so cool and stylish. You look fashionable without trying! I love the little doodles too, I think the pouting lips are my fav.

Metal Chick

Mesh Top - Boohoo
T-shirt Dress - Boohoo
Tights - Primark
Boots - Primark

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a lovely relaxing weekend. Today we're back with another outfit post! It feels like ages since our last outfit post so another one had to go on the blog today. I don't know about you, but the shops are jam packed with gorgeous clothes and I literally cannot stop buying clothes! Every time I go to town, I come home with even more clothes! But it's for the blog right?! You can never have too many clothes hehe.

The look I'm wearing here is very grunge inspired with metal gal vibes. The shops are full of grungy looking clothes so it's super easy to create your own rock chick look! This gorgeous t-shirt dress is from Boohoo (where else?!) I love the design on this dress. It's like a band design on the front with gorgeous lace detail at the bottom to add that girly baby doll twist. I have been loving mesh tops for years now and this one from boohoo looks so perfect under this dress. You can wear mesh tops under everythingggg and they are very in fashion right now! So go get your mesh tops girls! How cute are these metallic silver boots? I got these as a present for my birthday a few weeks ago and I haven't took them off since! So cute! I haven't really had many shoes from Primark before and the quality of these boots are amazing!

Do you like this look guys? What do you think of mesh tops?

Heartache

Heartache T-shirt - H&M
Lace Leggings - River Island
Knee High Socks - Primark
Boots - River Island

Sorry for the lack of pictures for this post! The pictures turned out really dark and blurred but thankfully the three pictures that I have do this lovely outfit some justice! Notice anything different about me? I have another piercing! I got a medusa piercing last week and it hurt like fuck but look at how pretty and feminine it looks! For now I'm stuck with a boring old stud until it heals properly and then I can change it to a beautiful sparkling diamond. Keep tuned for a post on mine and Leah's medusa piercing experience that sound be up later this week on the blog.

Anyway, enough about that for now and onto the outfit! I love wearing over sized shirts as dresses because it looks so cool and edgy but I also feel comfy and it doesn't take much effort to style. I love the logo on this shirt, it says 'heartache' and I love the way it looks like it's spelled with flames. Thank god this shirt has sleeves though as I was so cold when we took these pictures!  I can't believe that this is from H&M as I've seen lots of similar t-shirts like this in topshop but so much more expensive!

Do you like wearing long tees as dresses too?

Elegant Stargirl

Blouse - Boohoo
Sliver Vest Top - Boohoo
Metallic Silver Skirt - Boohoo
Knee High Socks - Primark
Boots - River Island

I just wanted to say that getting these photos was a nightmare in this absolutely freezing cold weather! Yeah, I know it's January and it's meant to be cold but this is unreal! I'm even getting cold wearing my onesie at night...yeah, I thought that was impossible too! So, onto the outfit now and I'm loving black and silver combinations as you can tell from this outfit of the day!

There is something so beautiful, stylish and super elegant about black lace blouses. This one in particular is fast becoming one of my favourites! I don't know why but the buttons and details on the front of this blouse really gives off a Japanese vibe! I love it, it looks unique and vintage/gothic at the same time. You can either dress this top up or turn this blouse into a casual yet chic outfit - what more could you want?

I am obsessed with this metallic silver Boohoo skirt although it's not one of my best purchases. It looks absolutely gorgeous and I love the different length of the skirt but the material feels flimsy and it even got a rip in the back the minute I put it on! I wasn't impressed. I think I'll be keeping this skirt for special occasions (or more outfit posts)!

Top - River Island
Velvet Jacket - Primark
Sequin Skirt - Boohoo
Knee High Socks - Primark
Shoes - River Island

Happy New Years Eve everyone! We are waving goodbye to 2016 and saying hello to 2017! I think 2016 has been my best year in a very long time to be honest so I'm hoping 2017 will be another good year. There's no better way to bring in the New Year than wearing sequins! I bought this gorgeous mermaid inspired top from River Island in the sale! I love the colours of the sequins, they are just so so so beautiful! There is no such thing as too many sequins for us so I'm also wearing my black sequin skirt from Boohoo! I'm wearing my gorgeous babydoll gothic boots from River Island too. I love this outfit, I wish I could wear it 24/7!

Our 2017 Resolutions
  • Keep positive - I think I have really improved at keeping positive and it makes all the difference! I would love to feel more positive about myself and to love myself more.
  • Art, art and more art! - Art is one of my favourite hobbies. There is just nothing better than looking at a piece of work that is your creation. Selling my art is something I would love to do in the future as it's something I love and making a little bit of money would just be a big bonus.
  • Keep blogging - I think this is the fourth blog I've made now and I'd love to stick to blogging because I love being part of this little blogging bubble. It's also a good excuse to buy more makeup and clothes I think!
  • Music - Me and Leah love love love music, it's our life! I would love to be in a band, make more music and have more faith in myself! We also want to put videos on our youtube of us playing guitar and drums (check out our Youtube here!)
What are your resolutions for 2017? Happy New Year everyone!
