Alien Boobs

WHAT I'M WEARING -
Top, BOOHOO
Shorts, BOOHOO
Hat, KILLSTAR
Boots, PRIMARK

Hey guys, back with another post after a short absence! I was so cold taking these photos but I wanted to get an outfit post on my new favorite feature, my alien boobs! I've had this crop top since last summer but I dug it out my wardrobe the other day. Obviously, It's too cold for me to wear it without a jumper because I'm a like cold blooded reptile.

I do love this Killstar hat! Got to admit, I get some strange looks when I wear this hat... I wonder why?
I love wearing these sparkly shorts, adding some glam to my everyday look. I especially love the 'love' logo down the sides!

Have a lovely week everyone!

Spider Girl

What I'm Wearing:
VELVET HOODIE - H&M
LEGGINGS - BOOHOO
BOOTS - MISSGUIDED

Hey everyone, hope everyone is enjoying the first few days of February! I'm so glad January is over as I was so so sick but now I'm feeling much better and just in time for my birthday on the 7th, yay!

This outfit was just something I wanted to throw on as I'm still recovering from the flu. I also love outfits that look stylish but are so comfortable and easy to throw on. I always grab my velvet hoodie from H&M when I want to put something warm on. I absolutely love velvet, it's my favourite material in the whole entire world and I'd wear it every single day if I could. As an alternative gal, I wanted to add some 'weird' to my outfit so I wore my spider web leggings from the Boohoo Halloween collection because after all, everyday is Halloween to me! These leggings are really soft material and they're just so comfy to wear! I'm wearing my all time favourite boots too that I got for Christmas! They're suede and lace up all the way up past the knee which I love. I think I'll have these boots for ages because they're so well made plus I'm in love with them! This is one of my favourite outfits to just throw on for a casual day and to be warm and stylish too!

Would you wear these spider web leggings?

You Are We

What I'm Wearing:
TOP - BAND MERCH
SHORTS - PRETTY LITTLE THING
BOOTS - PRIMARK

I've been loving blogging recently so here we are, with another post! My favourite posts to do are fashion ones. I have a lot of black clothes - a slight obsession I have, perhaps? And being a metal head musician, it's only natural I have many band tops in my collection, right? This one I'm wearing is my newest addition and already my favourite! Bought at a While She Sleeps gig, which was seriously mind blowing, fun and insane, I had to get a band top to keep as a memento from one of my favourite gigs.
While She Sleeps really do the most gorgeous, creative merch so I was a bit spoilt for choice.. but I obviously had the get the top with the dog on it! Albeit looking quite vicious, I love it! I love the use of the bright red writing along the sleeves, in Chinese I think? Regardless of the language, I adore how much thought has clearly gone into this top! While She Sleeps, stealing my heart all over again with their aesthetic both musically and fashion wise!

These shorts are seriously the cutest shorts I have. They're so cute and I just love the added detail of the frills on the bottom on the hem. They're velvet too (my favourite!) and add a bit of cuteness to whatever outfit I chose to wear.

The boots are from Primark! I know, they're amazingly gorgeous and stylish! Not to mention affordable. It's lovely knowing you can get cheap but gorgeous fashion these days for us poorer folk :P Look at the buckles and zip details! Also, these boots are so comfortable to wear. I pop these on and instantly feel like a 90's grunge queen.

Have you got any band tops?

Glasses Shop.com - The Place To Go For The Best Glasses!

I think everyone loves buying a good pair of sunglasses because let's face it, sunglasses look awesome on everyone. They protect your eyes in the suns harmful rays and they are great to pop on when you're having a 'no make-up' day. Sunglasses are just cool - fact.

But finding the right pair of sunglasses can be incredibly hard. Especially when, like me, you need to wear prescription glasses. My eyesight is absolutely terrible and I am always wearing my eyeglasses to be able to read, watch TV and do daily mundane things. So, unfortunately I haven't had the chance to wear sunglasses much because I can't afford prescription sunglasses and plus, many prescription sunglasses out on the market aren't too pretty and many of the designs are old fashioned. Or so I thought. Recently, a kind lady from the Glasses shop reached out to us via email to review a pair of sunglasses or eye glasses of out choice. Looking through the website we were absolutely spoiled for choice! There were so many glasses frames and styles to choose from. Finally we decided to go for some blue mirrored coated Aviator style shades.

Intoducing GlassesShop.com

It's very to safe to say that I am absolutely over the moon with these sunglasses! I mean, look at how stunning they are. I love the blue, reflective lenses. Also, the sunglasses are really dark too so they're going to be perfect in the summer when the sun is at it's brightest and most harmful. I can see through the lenses so clearly too which is always a major plus. These sunglasses also have an anti-scratch coating on to ensure the lenses stay perfect for as long as possible! I am just so in love with my new fashion accessory and I recommend the glasses shop to everyone.

We have very kindly been given a 50% off code which includes eyeglasses, sunglasses  with free lenses only throughout the glassshop.com website with the exception of sales frames. CODE IS - GSHOT50

Be sure to check out this incredible shop. Their range is massive and I think I'll be treating myself to some new eyeglasses soon. These shades are perfect for anyone that struggles with their vision. You only need to put in your eye prescription in whilst ordering - simple!

Boho in Distress.

What I'm Wearing:
TOP - BOOHOO
SHORTS - PRIMARK
BOOTS - RIVER ISLAND
SPARKLY BACKPACK - BOOHOO

It's been a really sad week to say the least. When I first heard of the terrorist attack in Manchester I was literally in shock and I think I've been in a state of complete shock all week. How can such a heinous and vicious attack be carried out in an arena of all places? Taking the lives of children and people that just wanted to enjoy music. It's broken my heart and I want to take a moment to pay my respects to all those affected by the attack.

I wanted to do a blog post today because we had a lovely day out at the Albert Dock! Me, Rachel and our mum all took our lunch down to the pier head and snapped some photos. The weather has been so lovely! It's been so awesome being able to dig out some of my cute summer clothes. I absolutely adore this floaty white Bardot from Boohoo. It's giving me serious hippie vibes!

I love nothing more than some distressed shorts. I usually stick to darker denim but recently I've been stepping out of my comfort zone and getting some classic blue denim shorts. These ones are from Primark and I love them to bits already. I think these shorts were only £10 so they're definitely worth getting in time for the warmer weather.

I've been into grunge music since I was 13 (REST IN PEACE CHRIST CORNELL!!!) and one thing I always noticed was how the 90's rockers wore black scruffy boots with eveything! So, here I am, bringing 90's grunge into my style with these ultra cool boots that I've had for years from River Island.
Hey, guys have you noticed I got all tanned up for these photos? I'm loving looking bronzed at the moment!

What's your favourite Summer item this year?

Fishnet Queen

Fishnet Jumper - Boohoo | Fishnet Leggings - Boohoo | Boots - ASOS

Have you ever noticed that wearing mesh clothing or fishnet tights makes you feel incredible and like a bad ass bitch? They're just so sexy and they look so cool. I absolutely love wearing fishnet tights but sometimes, tights aren't enough. I needed more fishnet goodness in my life. Who do I turn to in my hour of need? Boohoo of course. Boohoo came to my rescue as always because lets face it, Boohoo is the best website going.

This whole outfit cost me just £11! I don't think I've entered something as fast into my shopping bag as I did with these leggings and jumper.

This is my favorite outfit in the whole entire world. Yes, I say that quite a lot about my outfits but no, this time I mean it. I feel like this jumper and these unique leggings were made for me! Not only do I feel confident wearing this, I also feel so comfortable too. I thought the fishnet material would feel tight or scratchy but it's quite loose so it's really nice to wear. I like the thought of just lazing around all day while looking goth as fuck while I do it ;)
Do you like fishnet clothes? let us know in the comments!

Black Velvet & Motorhead

Black Velvet Dress - Vintage | Fishnet Tights - Primark | Boots - ASOS

This little dress has been in my wardrobe for four years now! I love this dress so much, I have it in three different colours! One thing I always think about when buying new clothes is, "will i still be wearing this in a few years time?" I think it's important buying clothes that last as whats the point in buying a dress and wearing it a few times? Saying that though, I am guilty of buying soooo many clothes and forgetting what I have in my wardrobe hehe.

What do you think of the fluffy cuffs? They're so cute aren't they! My mum actually sewed the fluff on to give it an extra touch and it's worked so well. DIYing clothes is so fun and makes it personal and special to you! Summer is coming up and I can't wait to start making more DIY clothes!
I think this is one of my favourite looks of this month. I love my fishnets and I am so so so glad that Primark have improved the quality of these babies!

By the way everyone, this lipstick is called 'Motorhead' by Kat Von D. I absolutely love this shade. I got it last year as a present and I can't believe it's lasted me until now. The smell of this lipstick is incredible. The staying power is amazingggg but my only problem is that it crumbled a little and feels a little cakey. Still, I love Kat Von D lipsticks! I am yet to try something else from her beauty range! I might have to try the eyeliner as it feels wrong not to! What do you think of her beauty products?

Do you like the goth vibes from this pretty outfit?

Feminist Mermaid

Feminist tee - H&M | Black Top - Forever 21 | Shorts - New Look | Tights - Primark | Creepers - New Look | Backpack - Boohoo

Hello everyone, sorry for the lack of blog posts last week. I was on a hair and makeup course in college! It was only for a week but I am so so so proud for myself. Because of a bad school experience, I struggle with really bad anxiety and social anxiety especially. Because of these problems, I never ever ever thought I would go to college but I did! I can't even believe that I'm writing this because I never thought this anxiety would get easier. For the last few years I've been taking little baby steps like going to the shops by myself, paying at the till which was so hard for me at the beginning and three years down the line I do a college course! I am just so proud of myself. Believe in yourself girls and you can do anything! Because of my week in college last week, I discovered how much I love doing hair. I love beauty but hair is my passion! So guess what everyone? I'm actually going to college to study hair in September! I can't wait! It will be challenging some days with my anxiety as I think it truly never goes 100% (I Had anxiety before my problems) but it does get easier and besides, I get to learn all about one of my favourite passions in life... Hair!

So when I got home from college last week, Rachel wanted to snap some pictures of this outfit that I'm wearing. This t-shirt is my go-to shirt as a gorgeous fit, blush pink and GIRL POWER! Yeah, I would describe myself as a feminist. I believe it equality and believe we should all be treated equally so when I saw this 'feminist' shirt in H&M, it was straight in my hands. I love the lettering. I love how the i's in feminist are little roses, it's a lovely delicate look. The fit of this tee is especially amazing and I the quality is so so so good, Best thing is that this top was only £8! That's cheaper than some of the tees in Primark nowadays! This is a great tee that I wear with pride :) What do you think of my new sparkly backpack from Boohoo? I absolutely adore it. I love all the different colour sparkles, the purple and blue go so beautiful together! It's the perfect backpack for all the mermaids out there.

Are you a Feminist too?

Alternative Meets Boho Vibes

Right after taking these blog pictures me and Leah ate some delicious home made cookies made by me during the day! Best of all is that these cookies are 'healthy' cookies! I might start blogging my favourite recipes soon on the blog as I love baking and most of all eating my bakes I make during the day! Today's recipe is healthy blueberry pancakes, yum!

On to the post now and I decided to pair my outfit with this cute boho style hairband I found in the sale of Urban Outfitters a few years ago! I love this headband as it's such good quality velvet and the style is so fashionable and can be worn everyday with every outfit. I've only recently started wearing my headbands again and I don't know why I ever stopped. They are perfect for bad hair days or when your hair feels greasy. I mainly wear my hairbands when I do my yoga and pilates in the evening but I love it so much that I'm trying to incorporate hair bands into my daily style and everyday outfits! I'm wearing my headband in a different way than I usually do, I mainly wear them on my head and not slightly on my forehead but I'm loving this new look! I think wearing it this way makes it look more boho and hippie which I love!

What do you guys think of this bohemian twist to my everyday look?
