Lush Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb Review

I have no idea why I keep on taking breaks with my blogging! Sorry for that guys! But I do think it's better to only write when I want to - no point in forcing out a load of posts when my heart isn't in it! Hopefully I'll be able to write more posts over the summer. Who is loving this lovely hot weather we are getting? Fingers crossed it will last!

On to the review! How absolutely gorgeous is this LUSH bath bomb? I took this photos months ago, if you're a lush fanatic you'll have already realised this gorgeous bath bomb was released for valentines day only.  Very appropriate for the occasion don't you think? It's just so beautiful! I love the pink and white heart shaped bomb with rose buds embedded into it. When you drop this into the bath, it just fizzes away and the rose buds float along side you in the bath - I felt like it was a very romantic gesture to myself getting this bath bomb :P

This bath bomb is scented so wonderfully, floral and rosey of course! I loved the colour of the water too. It turned a sweet shade of baby pink. If you're a fan of bubbles, this bomb isn't for you unfortunately as my bomb rendered no bubbles! A slight disappointment but a small price to pay for this romantic treat.

Lush Rockstar Soap Review

Another lovely present I received for my 21st birthday! I really didn't expect this one. I've spent years going into Lush for a quick nose around, admittedly, their amazing and wacky bath bombs always stole the limelight! However, when I did look around their soaps years ago, this adorably cute little pink star shaped soap stuck out to me above the rest! You can imagine my surprise when Rachel got me this for my Birthday along with a few other Lush goodies.

First of all, this soap is called Rock star! I know, absolutely perfect for a metal head like me! even my soap is rock n roll influenced. I'm pretty sure not many rock stars smell this good though; this soap is so sweet smelling. The most perfect balance of Vanilla, not too overwhelming at all and makes my bathroom smell incredible after my showers!
With coconut oil and rapeseed oil, I'm pretty certain my skin hasn't felt softer! I'v been using this soap daily for almost three weeks now and it's hardly changed in size. I know the moment I run out of my cute, pink little rock star I will undoubtedly be buying another!

Makeup We Got For Our 21st Birthday

It was our 21st birthday on the 7th! I still can't believe we're 21, I still feel like a baby. Anyway, we were really lucky to get some amazing makeup this year from our lovely mum and dad (thanks guys!)

So first up is the Kat Von D Basket Case Anti- Precision Pencil Eyeliner - I actually couldn't believe it when I opened this present... a Kat Von D eyeliner and not just any eyeliner, it's the basket case liner that she's only just released in collaboration with Billy Joe who is the lead singer of Green Day! I have always wanted a Kat Von D liner so I was so excited to try this out. As you can imagine, the pigment is super intense and it stays put all day. I won't go into too much detail as there will be a full review on this liner in a few days to come so stay tuned! I 100% recommend this amazing eyeliner to any eyeliner-aholic!

If you read our blog regularly you would know that me and leah are absolutely obsessed with Urban Decay so we were so excited to see that we got Urban Decay's All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer! We live for Urban Decay palettes and lipsticks but we have never tried any base products from UD so I was really interested to see if I loved it as much as their eyeshadows. This is full coverage which I love in a concealer and it applies so flawlessly. I just couldn't ask for more from this concealer, it's bae.

I was so shocked when I saw that we got Benefit's BADgal BANG Mascara! All I can say is wow. I saw so much hype around this mascara when it was released recently and I can honestly say myself that it's worth the hype! Stay tuned for a full review on this amazing mascara next week!

Me and Leah love a good highlight so I was so happy that mum had got us a highlighter. The one we got was Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops. You only need a few drops and you're glowing like a mystical creature, we love it! Leah  got me Urban Decay 'vice' Metallised Lipstick in the shade 'Amulet'. It's such a pretty pink shimmering shade and I absolutely adore it.

To pretty up my nails I also got Rimmel Rita Ora 60 Seconds in 'Hot Metal Love' and a clear top and base coat. Hot Metal Love is such a beautiful colour that reminds me a space and galaxies. The 60 Seconds range will always be my go to for nail polishes.

WOW. I was so shook when I saw that we had got Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eye Shadow Palette! I can't even describe how amazing this palette is! I was so happy that we got a guide in the palette too to give us step by step instructions on how to create four perfect smoky eye looks. There will also be a single post dedicated to this palette really soon because come on, this palette deserves it's own post!

I'm in love with The Body Shop and was so happy that I got a two lip butters that smells delicious and helps hydrate my lips for hours. Both of the hand creams are amazing too and I raved about the TBS hand creams a few days ago in our January Favourites post!
That brings us to the end of this post and I just want to thank my mum and dad again for making us have the best 21 birthday ever. I actually think it was my best ever birthday because it was just a day of relaxing, having fun, drinking wine and eating our amazing unicorn cake! Also thanks to our big sister Caz and Eve for making our day amazing too. Thanks for the presents guys!

What do you guys think of our birthday makeup for our 21st?

LUSH Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar

Hey everyone, remember us? Well, we're back! and what better way to start off our blogging return than with a review on the ever so magical LUSH Unicorn Horn bubble bar?

So, this was meant to be a birthday present but Rachel gifted it to me early seeing as I've been pretty sick recently (anyone else constantly ill these days?!) and she knew undoubtedly that this limited edition valentines day special would make me feel better! Such a babe, thanks Rach!

Firstly, how cute is this bubble bar? It's almost too pretty to use. Almost. Formulated with relaxing lavender oil and the 'mood brightening' neroli oil which increases serotonin in the brain, which makes us happy! Sounds good right? and this bar smells insanely gorgeous, not too overpowering at all. Also, this bar is packed with a shimmery glitter! Girls (and guys) who the hell can resist some glitter?! For the mystical creature fanatic in me, this unicorn horn is a piece of pure happiness!

All I need to say to is why the hell is this limited edition!? I need this unicorn horn in my life all year round, making my baths perfectly pink and bubbly. This is a must buy for anyone that needs a good pick me up! It's definitely brightened my day up.

What will you be picking up from LUSH?

February Beauty Favourites | 2017

Hey everyone, this post is all about our February Favourites which is mostly (when I say mostly, I mean all) beauty products! What girl can't resist going into Boots or Superdrug and not buy some makeup? I'm honestly addicted to makeup and I can never have too many beauty products! So lets see what products that were recently added to my makeup stash!

L'Oreal Perfection Crayon True Match Concealer 'Ivory' - This concealer is so creamy and blends just like a dream. I'm really happy I tried this concealer out as it does the job perfectly. It covers my imperfections, covers redness and dark circles and stays put of hours. This concealer also doesn't feel oily like some crayon concealers I have tried. I have acne prone skin and this doesn't break me out at all! What's not to love?

Bellapierre Lipstick 'Catwalk' - Mmmm what can I say about this beautiful lipstick? Well first off, it smells like cake! I hadn't heard of this brand at all and my mum and dad bought me and Leah this gorgeous lipstick for our 20th birthday last month. This is actually a mineral lipstick which means it does nothing but goodness for our lips! This shade is called 'Catwalk' and its a pretty pink that looks natural and beautiful. I can imagine Audrey Hepburn wearing this lipstick in Breakfast At Tiffany's. This lipstick almost feels like a lip balm as it's so hydrating. It's pigmented and stays on for ages without drying my lips out. It's perfect to say the least. I already have some other shades of Bellapierre lipsticks on my wishlist!

Maybelline Eyeliner Master Precise - Perfect eyeliner for feline flicks. This eyeliner is so pigmented and so easy to apply. It isn't called Master Precise for nothing you know ;)

L'Oreal Miss Manga Eyes Mascara - My mum actually bought us this as we were obsessed with manga/anime a few months back! This mascara really does give the effect of big, dolly like doe eyes! My lashes look almost false with this mascara! Even my bottom eyelashes look amazing and super long! This mascara doesn't clump either which is a miracle to be honest haha. Seriously the best mascara for big dramatic lashes!

Maybelline Brow This Way Brow Powder 'Soft Black' - This product has only really just hit the shops and I was straight at Boots to purchase it! I was happy to see that the new Brow This Way powder comes in the shade 'Soft Black' which is the perfect shade for my brows. This product is so amazing! AMAZING! Because it's a powder, my brows look so natural and filled in and defined. There is just nothing bad about this product at all!

Maybelline Dream Brightening Booster 'Universal/Blanc' - I always want the underneath of my eyes to look beautifully highlighted but until Dream Booster I hadn't found something that done the job! Maybelline's brightening booster is a creamy formula that blends so easily. My skin looks alive after using this! I got the shade blanc which can be used on all skin tones and I think this shade is for the most dramatic highlighted look. If you want your hightlighter on fleek then go get this girls!

L'Oreal Infallible Blush Paint Chubby 'Tangerine' -  This chubby blush paint is p-e-r-f-e-c-t! The smell is so fruity and sweet I wish I could eat it haha. This is shade Tangerine and it's the perfect colour for Spring/Summer. All you need is one swipe of this and then you blend but don't worry, it's so easy to blend! My cheeks look pinched with colour all day long!

L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation 'Light Sand' - FAVOURITE foundation ever!! I never ever ever thought I would day that about a foundation but they day has come when I have found my one and only foundation; enter L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover! The shade 'Light Sand' is perfect for my skin which is on the pale side. Recently I have felt like shit because my skin had been terrible. I would wake up with so many spots and pimples I felt like crying. I even hid away from using makeup in fear it would make me break out even more! Luckily, this foundation doesn't block pores at all so already I couldn't wait to use this. I can't even begin to describe how amazingly brilliant the coverage of this foundation is. It's a thick consistency, almost mousse like and it blends super easily into the skin. I gently pat this onto my skin and my skin looks so flawless. Redness, uneven skin tone and dark circles are covered completely. The coverage is matte but at the same time great for dry skin too. I have oily skin and even my skin stays completely matte. The staying powder is just amazing. If you feel insecure, upset and unconfident about your skin then you need this foundation in your life. It's honestly a life saver. It's made me feel like me again in my own skin. Its confidence in a tube.

Christmas 2016 Presents | The Body Shop, Pandora & Tigi Bedhead

I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas! Christmas still isn't over yet though. I'm still relaxing, being cozy and watching films all day! I wanted to blog about a few of my favourite presents that I got this year, mainly beauty products because who doesn't love a good pamper day? My mum and dad bought us a box full of amazing The Body Shop products! I started using The Body Shop products recently and I absolutely love their products. I prefer The Body Shop products over Lush products because they don't upset my skin, are less expensive and just overall better than Lush in my opinion! I've got to say my favourite is the Hemp range! My skin has never ever ever felt this SOFT! My skin just feels like silk and I'm not even kidding! I've never tried Hemp before because I usually love fruity or sweet smelling stuff but Hemp smells really vintage which is weird as we all know Hemp and cannabis come from the same plant! I love the fact that The Body Shop use natural pure ingredients, the hippy in me loves being au naturale. The Argan Oil range is just perfect too. The scrub and body lotion are a treat to use! The Aloe skincare has made me feel 1000% better about my skin. My skin has broke into spots recently which makes me feel really low about myself. The Aloe really calms down my skin and makes me feel so much more confident about my skin. The overnight cream is just amazing! I wake up and my skin looks transformed! The Aloe range is perfect for sensitive skin. I am just obsessed with The Body Shop now! They make the most perfect products for a pamper day!
I cannot wait to use my new shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioning mask from Tigi Bedhead. Tigi is an amazing brand that I've been using on my locks for years now. The set I got is especially for coloured hair which is infused with sweet almond oil, coconut oil and keratin. Plus, it smells exactly like Toffee... mmm, yum!
Next up is my gorgeous Pandora ring from my Nan (thanks Nan!) I love this ring. It's so beautiful and looks like two rings in one! This is a tiara shaped inspired ring which is good for me as I like to think I'm a princess haha. I just think you can't go wrong with Pandora! The jewellery is just beautiful.

What did you guys get for Christmas this year?

Demonia Pentagram Black Canvas Platform Mary-Janes

Firstly I apologize for the amount of dog hairs on my beautiful shoes! Anyone that has a pet knows the struggle of getting pet hair on clothes (in my case, shoes) I tried to get as much dog hairs off my shoes as possible but they just didn't budge!!

Oh well, these shoes speak for themself! I was looking for a pair of alternative shoes and I came across these beautiful shoes on a website called alternative-footwear. These shoes are from a brand called Demonia. I haven't heard of this brand before but I saw these shoes and just needed them in my life!

I love pentagrams and I didn't think i'd have my very own pentagram shoes! These shoes are very high but they are the most comfortable shoes ever and I can actually walk in them! I love the detail. The ruffle lace trim is just so cute and babydoll. The studs are another thing I love about these shoes as it just adds so much detail! Honestly, I can't get over how perfect these shoes are! They are my dream shoes. These shoes are probably the most expensive shoes i've bought it awhile as they are £60 but with all the detail, I can't really complain. I can see myself wearing these shoes for a very very long time! I recommed these shoes to everyone that has a gothic, alternative, babydoll style!

What do you think of these shoes?
Would you buy any shoes of alternative-footwear?

Lush Love Lettuce Face Mask

I think buying Lush products is always a nice treat! The last face mask that I bought was the cupcake face mask that I absolutely loved. The only thing that puts me off buying Lush is that it's so expensive! This small pot was £6.75! Me and Leah went into Lush yesterday though and decided to treat ourselves to the Love Lettuce face mask!

Like all Lush products, Love Luttice is made with fresh natural ingrediants. I think natural products are the way to clear beautiful skin! Some of the ingrediants in this face mask are lavender oil, honey and almond oil along with 11 more natural ingrediants! I really love this mask as it mainly smells of lavender! I wanted to buy a mask that would reduce the amont of oil on my skin and that was suitable for acne prone skin. Love Lettuce is perfect for reducing sebum thanks to the lavender oil and the honey in this mask also moisturises the skin. This mask is also very exfoliating. After using Love Lettuce, my skin feels and looks cleaner andmuch brighter too! I feel like my skin can breathe again!

I recommend this mask to everyone especially those with oily, acne prone skin! This mask works wonders on my skin and I can see myself buying Love Lettuce again once it runs out despite it being £6.75 which is quite pricey for a face mask. A short but sweet review but I think this mask kinda speaks for itself! Love Lettuce is simply amazing and a must have in my pamper routine!

What is your favourite Lush face mask?
Would you try Love Lettuce?

Our MAC Lipstick Collection! Review And Swatches

L-R: Diva, Russian Red, Film Noir, Darkside, another film noir, Spice It Up, Media, Dubonnet, Verve, Gunner, Cyber, Taupe, Sin, Studded Kiss, Spirit
L-R: Diva, Russian Red, Film Noir, Dark Side
L-R: Spice It Up, Media, Dubonnet, Verve, Gunner, Cyber, Taupe, Sin, Studded Kiss, Spirit.
So this is our very first blog post on Leah Rachel Goth! And whats better than coming back into the blogging world with a MAC post? Me and Leah are hardcore lipstick junkies, we have about ten thousand lipsticks in every colour. MAC is probably my favourite brand for lipsticks. Who hasn't got a MAC lipstick in their makeup stash??

Diva: This was one of the first MAC lipsticks I ever bought and it still remains one of my favourites. This lipstick is a burgundy/red shade with a matte finish. It's a really pigmented shade that stays on for hours. I can see myself buying this lipstick again and again and as you can see by my pictures, I am definitely in need of another Diva lipstick!

Russian Red: This was one of our 19th birthday presents. This is a beautiful red shade and it's perfect to wear all the time. Russian red is also a matte lipstick with a creamy texture. This is one of my favourite red lipsticks to wear as it hasn't got any orange or pink tones in it.

Film Noir: I think Film Noir is one of my favourite lipsticks ever! I love this shade as it's a dark brown with reddish undertones. Film Noir has a satin finish so it stays on for a few hours before it wears off. I think its also a really really really pigmented shade! This one is definitely a shade for girls that love the darkside of life!

Darkside: This is such a beautiful lipstick. This is a lustre and I hate the finish of this lipstick as it doesn't stay pigmented at all and it doesnt stay on all that long either. I probably wouldn't buy this lipstick again just because it doesn't stay on which is a shame as I love this shade.

Spice It Up: Another lipstick I wouldn't buy again is Spice it up! Ive tried my hardest to love this lipstick but it's too light for me and it also stays on for 10 minutes if I'm lucky... Lustre lipsticks from MAC are just not my thing.

Media: I fell inlove with this lipstick when I first spotted it on someones blog last year! This is such a gorgeous lipstick shade and it stays on for a really long time. It's also very pigmented. This is the perfect lipstick for Autumn and Winter as it's a real berry/plum shade!

Dubonnet: I love this lipstick. This is another red lipstick that's a true red. I recommend this lipstick to everyone as it's a gorgeous colour.

Verve: I don't really like nude lipsticks but I absolutely love Verve! It's such an amazing nudish/brown shade. This one is for everyone that loves that 90's look.

Gunner: A limited edition lipstick that I bought last year. I admit that I haven't wore this one much at all but it's an eye catching purple lipstick!

Taupe: I think this is probably the most nude I would go with a lipstick. I love wearing this lipstick when I have lots of eye makeup on and I want a more natural lip look.

Sin: This is my favourite lipstick ever! I got this for my birthday this year and it's probably the lipstick that I've wore most of this year already!

Studded Kiss: This one is basically Diva lipstick but it's more of a red shade. I love this lipstick, it's one that I'll always have in my MAC stash.

Spirit: Another one of my nude lipsticks that I love wearing. This lipstick looks so pretty and really natural with a hint of a nude brown tone that looks really beautiful.

So thats mine and Leah's MAC lipstick collection!
