Comfort And Sparkles

Velvet Hoodie - ASOS
Shorts - River Island
Tights - Primark
Suede Creepers - New Look

After Christmas and new year, everything feels really dull and empty. It's really weird not seeing Christmas decorations everywhere along with all the glitter and sparkles. I miss all the sparkly clothes and party dresses too but at the same time, it's nice to get cosy in big jumpers and lay about in slouchy clothes without feeling restricted!

But being a girl that is obsessed with anything silver, sparkly and just damn beautiful, how could I not wear these stunning sequined shorts from River Island? Yeah, it might be January and the party season is technically over but I think it's perfectly acceptable to wear sequins everyday. Make every day a party, right? ;) What makes these shorts even better, I got them for just £17 in the sale. Bargain, I think considering these beautifully made and clothes from River Island last for absolutely years.
It's been freezing the past couple of weeks and I think Rachel lived in this gorgeous, unique and super trendy velvet hoodie over Christmas! It's sooooo soft, I wish you could feel it! but honestly, it's incredible. Plus, it''s really glamorous while keeping me really warm and comfortable.
I finish the outfit off with my beloved creepers fro New Look. My boyfriend Matt bought me these a few months ago when we were walking around Manchester (I kept falling over in my heeled boots) so Matt treated me to these little beauties!

Do you mix comfort with sparkles?
