Makeup Must Haves - L'Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara!

I always get so excited when I see hight street brands releasing new products. The minute I saw L'Oreal's latest mascara offering, Miss Baby Roll, I knew I had to get my hands on it. The name of this mascara had my attention at first. Miss Baby Roll? What does that even mean? Nevertheless, Baby Roll sounds rather adorable but I don't think the name tells you much about the product. Miss Baby Roll comes in four unique and exciting colours! There is plain old black and there is also a waterproof option in black for us classic makeup loving girls. The shades Bright Teal, Indigo and Liliac are for more daring and bold makeup lovers. I got my Baby Roll in black.

First of all, the packaging is simple but cute. Packaged in a black tube, the black mascara design is accompanied by a gorgeous pastel pink and mint lid. The colour theme of each shade is unique to each mascara so for instance, if you get the shade Teal, the packaging is teal and pink! It's so pretty, I'm considering going out of my comfort zone to buy the Indigo. The wand is different for the standard mascara, it's more rounded and L'Oreal describes this as a ''roller brush''!

Now, onto the product! I'm going to jump right into this and say that this is probably one of the best mascara's I've used. L'Oreal never let me down with their mascara offerings and Miss Baby Roll has lived up to my very high expectations! A few coats of this baby and my lashes literally look false. Doing my bottom lashes is just the best with this mascara wand because even my lower lashes look really long and separated. The formula doesn't clump so you don't get the dreaded 'spider legs eyelashes'. This mascara is for anyone that wants their eyelashes to look super long and curled. The mascara is super black too so that's always an added bonus!

The verdict - Long, curled eyelashes that LAST. ALL. DAY!

I'm already nearing the end of my Miss Baby Roll, it seems to have run out quite quickly which is a bummer. It costs £7.99 but Superdrug have a 2 for 3 deal on L'Oreal products at the moment so ladies, we all know where we're going this weekend!

Mini Boots Haul | L'Oreal and Maybelline Products

Hello everyone, today started out a nightmare to say the least! Our two new Russian dwarf hamsters were fighting like crazy! Lana is crazy and had Luna pinned down, attacking her relentlessly. We're going to have to take Lana back to the pet shop, there is no other option. Luna is a sweet little girl that wouldn't ever hurt another hamster, very much the opposite to mad ball Lana. Also, Our dog Heidi won't stop crying because shes obsessed with the hamsters! Oh my goodness I feel like I'm going insane with it all.

Back into the world of beauty blogging now - ah, my sanctuary. We have bought three new products this week and all three happen to be new releases! Is there anything better than new makeup? L'Oreal and Maybelline are two of my favourite high street brands so let's just jump straight into the reviews!

L'Oreal Total Cover Foundation -  Foundations are something I look into before purchasing. Rachel has acne prone skin and has recently been very insecure about her skin as she had some breakouts. The last thing Rachel wanted was a foundation that made her skin irritated and made her feel even worse. This foundation is non - comedogenic! If you're not sure what that means, it means that is doesn't block pores so it doesn't cause spots. It's also water based.not oil based so this means it looks more natural and is perfect for people with oily problematic skin We both love a matte finish with heavy coverage that hides both blemishes and dark circles. This is the most perfect foundation ever. It's very thick, like a mousse almost but applies evenly and is a really lovely shade. We got the shade Light shade and it's great for pale skin. I recommend this to anyone that likes matte skin with a flawless finish that lasts all day. This is already my holy grail foundation. It hasn't broken my sensitive skin out and it makes me very so much more confident! Go and buy it now!

L'Oreal Blush Paint -  I've had cream blushers in the past but this lastest offering from L'Oreal had me very intrigued. It's in a stick form and claims to be high impact. All you have to do is simple swipe across your cheeks and rub it in with either a brush or your fingers. This doesn't have a shade name but has a light orange cap that I rather like! I love the colour, it's a lovely peach that I think would suit most skin types. It stays put all day - literally, it won't budge! This blush looks natural and so pretty, looks matte and finishes off any makeup look perfectly. I'll definitely be purchasing this again!

Maybelline Dream Brightening Booster - This claims to brighten under the eyes so I had to get it. I don't know why but I feel like my dark circles have dark circles. I bought this on a whim because why not? it seemed like an interesting product and it definitely hasn't disappointed. The shade is universal so it's suitable for everyone which is something I love about it. It's creamy and blends like a dream. I can always notice a difference when I apply this under my eyes - it definitely brightens. I think this is such a handy product to have if you want to do your makeup in a rush, just to add a little more 'awake' to your look in seconds!

So there we have it! These have been three very successful buys, the star of the bunch is the L'Oreal Total Cover foundation though. Non - comedogenic foundations usually are very expensive in my past experiences so it's amazing that L'Oreal have whipped up this beauty for us! It's a definitely must buy.
